Quarter Challenge Results:

During the month of October, 25 congregations took up the 11th Annual Quarter Challenge for Camp Tomah Shinga. For each Sunday in October, congregations were invited to designate all the quarters or larger denominations in the offering plates for Camp Tomah Shinga. Some congregations adapted this challenge to collect coins in Sunday School classes; some used it as a teaching tool for stewardship drives and others encouraged members to collect coins by sharing camper stories in their weekly bulletins. With excitement building for Camp Tomah Shinga, it was no surprise that this year’s challenge was a success.

As a result, the grand total collected was $4,612.37! WOW!

Thank you to all the congregations and individuals who responded to this year’s challenge. We are so pleased to have such amazing ministry partners. By taking up this challenge you’ve encouraged giving and supported your church camp. We are earnest in our attempts to resource this ministry and we are convinced that Camp Tomah Shinga will continue to be a special place for people of all ages.
